First time came here in June for cochlear implant assessment, all the Audiologists that involved in this assessment are very friendly and patient, they would put the transcriber closer to me so I can read. Sharing about my experience getting an emergency surgery on Sept. 19, 2024 for a ruptured hemorrhagic ovarian cyst. I had comprehensive pelvic ultrasounds prior to my surgery which were reviewed by a team of doctors including my surgeon Dr. Maria Giroux, who now practices in Regina. They could not immediately identify why I was having excruciating pain so I was admitted for surgery within five hours of arrival. I had the opportunity to visit the maternity ward during my best friend's delivery. The facilities are very nice and clean, the staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and the chapel is lovely.
I want to share the incredibly positive experience I had at St. Paul’s Emergency Department on the night of September 18. I was experiencing a miscarriage and was in an overwhelming amount of pain. I was seen right away, and from the moment I arrived, the nurses treated me with such kindness and compassion.
