I have been using St. Mary's for 55 + years. Born there, lived in area most of my life, There have been good reviews and bad over the years but always supported them. Now I understand my Insurance will no longer be accepted because Cabell is to buy them out I am saddened so much, I never wen't to Cabell, never liked the way they do business. I guess I will have to travel now to find someone in my network. I can't afford to change for them. I am disappointed in the whole sham
I love this hospital. Just had my hysterectomy yesterday and had to spend the night for observation but all the staff were extremely caring and nice. My overnight nurse, Joan Perry went above and beyond to help me.
The labor and delivery floor is fabulous! Great nurses!! And great doctors!
We chose St. Mary's for the birth of our second son and we made the best decision! Every single nurse was kind, sincere, and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and the security is very comforting. I am so thankful for such a wonderful experience! I only wish we'd had our first son here as well!
Been here for four days with my dad who had open heart surgery. Everyone has been amazing! Sweet Alicia (not sure of the spelling) in open heart recovery was so patient and kind. Sitting by my dad's bedside all night trying to keep him comfortable and taking the time to answer my call at all hours when I called to check his progress. Also Misty on cardiac step down worked her tail off getting us everything we needed as quickly as possible. They did my mother awful. Lucky she made it out alive. We plan to never return.
I was born at St.Mary's in 1962. My choice for every type of care since then.
Very good care and very nice staff made you feel very comfortable
