Staff at the door are quite rude..twice now I have come to visit my dad who just got news he needs a liver transplant otherwise he has a Catastrophic outcome and rather than being polite I’ve gotten attitudes from a woman and tall gentleman to even call up to the unit he is in. I’m genuinely upset and annoyed at the attitudes. Both times I wasn’t even allowed in the building. Today is one of those times, brought something special for the team helping him and the nurses at the door refused to even let me up with an attitude.
Horrible service. My wife went to the er after a recommendation from bettermed doctor. She has been having trouble breathing for a few weeks. ER doctor came in to the room and only used the stethoscope for diagnosis. He went by the information from bettermed and told us her problem was environmental. I questioned his diagnosis in a firm but respectful tone no cuss no fuss. He immediately left the room. 5 minutes later a Henrico police officer came to me for questioning. Disappointed in St.Marys,not happy with the care my father received.The first day when visiting I was screened at the front and waited 20 minutes to enter hospital,staff wasn’t answering the phone at nurses station,I had to call my fathers cell phone and tell him to ring the call bell so I can tell the nurse to answer the phone so I can come in.When asking questions about his diagnosis and plan of treatment the staffs reply was “They don’t know”At one point I became so frustrated I was going transfer him to MCV/VCU.The team ... read more
Absolutely wonderful staff and exceptional care! This was my first visit to a medical facility since moving to Richmond. The front desk check in, to my triage nurse and the physician Dr. Gil who took care of me, it was top notch care and comfort. I was in tremendous pain and every staff member facilitating me to the best of their ability with a packed waiting room. I am grateful I found this ER facility!
RN Christopher Dunn who works in the covid unit is on drugs. smokes weed, does shrooms, abuses cough medicine and smokes cigarettes. I wonder how many people dies because of his drug use?

My jewelry was stolen by the nurses that work here and pawned! I was sexually molested. They have bed bugs and so many lawsuits! This place should be shut down. Bunch of perverts, liars and frauds!
The care that I received while on the 3rd floor was phenomenal....I was cared for as if I was each of the nurses family members.St Mary's staff rock....
