Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center was a former orphanage back in 1888. Run by the Sisters of Charity of St. Hyacinthe, it featured a modest hospital of 30 beds. The present building was constructed in 1902 and is an example of the late Gothic style of architecture credited to its mention on the National Register of Historic Places. It boasts 233 beds and a department for emergency.

The care I received at St. Mary's was fine, but the billing department is hugely incompetent. I have been making monthly payments to them for my procedure. I log in to MyChart once a month and I make the payment that MyChart tells me is due. This has been my routine for months. Fast forward to today and I get a notice from a collection agency. As a nurse and a nurse manager, I can honestly say that I've never been treated more horribly than I was by staff at this hospital. My fiance was in the hospital for a few days and came out with bruises all over his body! This place shouldn't be allowed to operate! The rudeness and the complete lack of sympathy from the staff was astounding. Thinking of people being stuck in that place makes me physically ill.
Terrible service, I’ve never had so many problems just trying to get medication. From scripts not being sent to the pharmacy, to incorrect doses, to straight up being denied a medication I’ve been out of for four days. Save yourself the grief and go somewhere else for care.

To whom it concerns: In your blind effort to cut costs, you've ended case management services?!! OUR CASE MANAGERS ARE OUR LIFELINES. OUR ADVOCATES. AND IN MY CASE, MY ONLY HELP! your careless disregard of the many MANY people who utilize these services only shows how little you care about the patients! Shame on you! What you suggest patients do in finding another case mgr is about as thorough as your decision Was to cancel our desperately needed services! I love st Mary’s I’ve had amazing exceptional stays we. I had both my sons and wen I had knee surgery back in 2018 by Jeffery Davila amazing nurses along with everyone else
