WORST HOSPITAL EVER!! I had a apt today at 10:30 am with Dr Craig Waycott!! I called and said I'd be a few mins late I was stopped at the stop light !! I got there to be told he wouldn't see me anymore !! I asked to talk to a manager!! I talked to a girl named Jennifer she told me because I filed a complaint saying he wouldn't take my concerns I had and I didn't feel comfortable with him as I was raped at 15 years old I wanted to switch drs. RecommendedThe staff is amazing! I went in for stomach pain and vomiting and found out I had appendicitis. The ER nurses were great and did everything in a timely manner. The surgeon was very nice! My over night CNA did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable! I wish I could remember names of the others but my morning nurse Peggy was the absolute best! Outstanding care was received today!!!! My mom was in for a robotic assisted total knee replacement going home same day! To say we were nervous was an understandment. However we were pleasantly surprised! I am a nurse and have to admit I am sometimes hard to please but everyone who cared for my mom was fantastic. 5 stars!!!!!!!! In their handling of the actual people to people part of the equation, not just the actual care received.
Something to be aware of if you chose St. Margaret's: even though the hospital is "in-network" for United Healthcare they outsource some of their services such as lab work and emergency room physicians to subcontractors that may NOT be in-network so you can end up getting bills, sometimes for thousands of dollars, from the subcontractors. My wife and I have been forced not to use St. Margaret's for anything but doctor's visits where the in-network status can be verified.
The nurses in ER are condescending to all their patients and they don’t do a very good job about not complaining about patients coming in where patients can actually hear them. They were rude to the ambulance personnel that brought my mom in because they were busy and the ambulance personnel should have “kept their patients down the road”
