St. Lukes in general isn’t terrible to work for, it is the Cardiopulmonary Stepdown Unit/6700 that I would advise prospective employees to stay away from, at least for as long as Rhonda Cira remains the nurse manager. She talks badly behind closed doors not only about her employees but about the assistant nurse managers as well. It is gossip central around the unit & sadly, the nurse manager is the biggest contributor. We were first referred to Dr. Mankowitz for Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), and through testing, eventually led to Dr. Jeremy Liedenfrost for bicuspid aortic valve replacement, requiring open heart surgery.
