While I was taken back relatively quickly, I was treated like dirt by the nursing staff and had to essentially beg for an evaluation of my symptoms and some IV fluids. They were ready to send me home the minute after they took my vitals. While the doctor was eventually empathetic, I was shocked at what I heard the nursing staff saying the minute they left my room.
