The care was great but what spoke to me more than anything were the reception team on my last day of radiation. The sweet lady that checked me in every day, remembered my name and made it such a personal experience. On my last day, she knew I was not gonna ring the cancer free bell. Dr Patel and staff are amazing. They always listen to my concerns and make changes to my treatment accordingly. The nurses and staff in the chemo suite are wonderful. They are kind, attentive and knowledgable. I am happy with my care here and would recommend Boise Medical Oncology to anyone needing treatment for breast cancer.
Dr. Zuckerman treated a friend of mine with pancreatic cancer and didn’t assess his liver properly before recommending the first series of chemo treatments, which destroyed his liver. The cancer shrank, but he died of liver failure followed by kidney failure. Like so many doctors these days, Zuckerman seems unable or unwilling to think outside the box, to take the time to do the proper tests before rushing headlong into chemo, or to predict obvious outcomes.
