Our friend had muscle strain he wasn’t able to walk so we had to call 911. I've been to this ER twice now and wow was i amazed that health care providers can act like they act at St. Luke's Meridian. The first time I went was August 5th 2024. I just recently moved from Boise to kuna and had done all the moving and dump runs myself. I have scoliosis and I have herniated a disc in my early twenties so I know back pain and have delt with it for years. What a waste of time
First of all, I am not a Karen. I've dealt with chronic health issues, and I have a huge respect for medical providers. That is why I am shocked by the care at the St. Lukes Meridian emergency department. I went into the ER because I had a bad reaction to a medication after dental surgery and was convulsing. It scared me as I have never seized like that, and I was in profound pain. They prioritized a patient with a minor cold over me. What kind of hospital doesn't have the ability to have an inhaler called in to a local pharmacy when you're traveling. Guess I'll just die. I called back, they suggested I call tomorrow. Hopefully that solves it!
