Compared to my horrendous care at UIHC I will now only go to St lukes! All the doctors and nurses are phenomenal. I am a leukemia patient, I never feel judged or dismissed here. Love it for my care
If your bladder is about to explode and you're pregnant absolutely do NOT go here. I sat for over two hours and cried for the last 30 mins begging for help. No one was in any hurry and I continued to wait even longer for a catheter. Staff was nice but obviously unbothered and I went to a freaking ER assuming I'd get EMERGENCY help. Do NOT assume because it's an ER that they're in any sort of hurry.
I went there when I had influenza A. I have been coughing a lot at home, and was concerned I might have pneumonia as a result thankfully, I did not. I then got patronized by the provider, and told that Chloraseptic was gonna help my cough. I had no insurance and was billed over for $2000 for that debacle. However, on other occasions, I have received excellent care. Staff has been very friendly and responsive and got the job done. Definitely my choice if I have to go to the emergency room.
