I'm normally not a big fan of St Luke's, but Canyon View saved my life. I went in Friday afternoon wanting to die, and in the three days I was there, I feel happy and love my life. The staff were incredible, especially my nurse, Mary and the Social Worker, Tabitha. Going to the groups really helped me. I will be forever grateful for Canyon View♥️
This place is a scam! A person who is confused, severely stressed, or depressed, having self harming thoughts, goes to the hospital then forced on a 36hr hold is sent there for help. (This causes more stress on the patient) They receive no help. (Causes more stress) Medication is pushed on them. (More stress) Not able to sleep while in there due to 15min welfare checka were they have to wake you up. Wonderful place. Staff was very caring and treated me with respect. I can't say enough good about these Wonderful people.. thank you all.
First, the nurses tell me they would do something for me, or they say they will be there and it might take hours. If they say their going to do it, I expect it done in a timely manner. My time there was a waste of time. I was worse when I left. I was released 9/4. It was rushed and I didn't get some of my things. I didn't get the meds I took in with me and I didn't get my CPAP. I had to go back and get them. I was told there was a bed available at Village House. There was no room there so I went back to living in my car. I w... read more
I don't know how to adequately review this place being I was such in a low state when I was received there however I can tell you most of the staff were genuine and you can tell they really loved there job and loved. However there are staff who get agitated and it reflects on how they treat there clients. It goes for every one we're not perfect. Overall I think this facility was well ran and the staff cared.
