My nurse, Michelle D. is AMAZING! She is so kind, calm and compassionate! I am so thankful for the excellent care I receive from her. I also enjoy when the therapy dogs visit andI really enjoy The Healing Arts Program, Virginia is an excellent teacher and is so kind, creative and friendly. These programs are such a blessing to the patients!
I am a type 8, and YES, I definitely have trust issues! I recently met Dr. Richard Boulay and his team. The moment I greeted Dr. Boulay and looked into his eyes, I knew I would be listened to, that I would receive support and help. Very kind and good professionalists!! I have a language barrier but they do everything possible to make me feel comfortable and understand what to expect. The neglect and the refusal to get any definitive answers is at an all time high with this place. And the nurses will get on the phone and the worst condescending responses and attitudes. But in person they’re as nice as can be ..and that’s only the tip of the iceberg. When you want to speak to the specialist you will never but you will be promised a call back from them only to get in a pissing contest with these nurses..But it will be addressed in person and i want the same energy
Today went for my infusion. I had the Russian lady with the short blonde hair and glasses. After my infusion of medicine was done, they always run some saline through for at least 10 minutes. She took off the tape and was about to take out the needle when I said, they normally run regular saline through for a while. She stood there and let it drip for about 40 seconds. And then she pulled the needle out while putting the gauze pad on with an alcohol pad faced down touching my skin where the open hole was from the needle! So ... read more
Saw Andrea today for genetic counseling and she was absolutely amazing. As a nurse, I appreciated the reassurance, bedside manner and not feeling rushed. Thank you!!
