I wrote a raw honest review under my other email and the response did not acknowledge any of my concerns. It simply said I am to blame and you all try to treat all patients the same and I need to get over it. Well, equality is not the same as equity, as a medical clinic you should know that. If you need a small education session, example, you can say all patients need to walk up the stairs to get to you. But what about patients with physical disabilities? You are required to offer them alternative options under the ADA. The ... read more
I am neurodivergent. I am high functioning, but I struggle with many things a neurodivergent person does. This is the second time I missed an appointment for not fault of my own. It’s difficult for me when it’s this person has this rule, you call this number for this that or the other, however I’ve been doing my best. I have a torn rotator cuff since 2019. I moved a wheelchair over the weekend now I’ve been in unbearable pain. I had an appointment for today at 3pm. I made a human mistake forgetting the kids went back to scho... read more
I struggle to understand why on a number of occasions, I’ve called to get my prescription filled and the staff doesn’t relay it to the doctor so it never gets filled. Why would that happen so much at a doctors office? It’s incompetence and lack of communication. Here I am without my medication because I called on Friday at 10am for the refill and the staff once again (5th time since I’ve been a patient), didn’t relay message so I can get it filled. I’m glad I’m not a cancer patient without life altering medication. Wonder ho... read more
Dealing with this clinic, whether over the phone (if you can actually reach someone) or in person, is very impersonal. You are just another item on the assembly line. They seem to just want to get you in & out..and get paid. There is a general flippant attitude on the part of staff when it comes to concern for some patients. Getting prescriptions renewed is always an ordeal, even if you have been on the same medications for nearly a decade. It sometimes takes a week or two to get approvals. They will let you run out of medic... read more
St. Louis Medical Clinic on Ballas Road in St. Louis: I am only reviewing one department employee for this medical clinic to show fairness that it is not the actual Medical group. There is an assistant/secretary by the name of NICK who rarely returns phone calls for the doctors that he works for, messages do not appear to be getting through to the doctors for them to respond in a timely manner, and he does not seem to understand medical terminology. It takes repetitive calls and sometimes going in person just to be able to g... read more
