My daughter and granddaughter arrived at children's the day before Easter, scared and confused worried and flustered. My granddaughter shut her hand in the door, she had to have surgery. This place was awesome!!! The Dr and nurses went out of their way to make all of us comfortable welcomed and informed. They kept her over night on the 10 th floor, just for pain management and because my granddaughter had never been put to sleep. Dr Boston is awesome! As well as all the nurses on the 8th floor. They listened to us and did the best job at taking care of our 2 month old. She was diagnosed with 3 different respiratory issues. Shes much better now! Thanks to the whole team there. They ONLY thing i absolutely hated was the room mate we were paired with. She arrived at 830pm and then just left her baby to cry while she "ran errands" didnt come back until 2am. Then sat on her phone. My daughter has surgery on her eye at the same day surgery center. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were welcomed with the warmest staff. My daughter's Dr./Surgeon Dr. Couch is so wonderful, personable and compassionate. The nursing staff at the Same Day surgery center are so sweet and kind. Everything was throughly explained to us step by step and I shed NO tears throughout the entire process because I was comfortable in the care I was leaving my daughter in.
