The nurses are amazing. Drs to. The security is bottom of the barrel. 40 families had their cars windows busted out including myself. The security acted as it’s it’s not big deal no one offered to help no one even stayed out there to give me information no one alerted me and when I would say something to them they’d brush it off. If not for Children's Hospital, I wouldn't be here today. I was struck by an automobile at the age of 8 (in 1960) and through many surgeries, I have survived to the ripe old age of 69! Only because of the care I received at St.Louis Children's Hospital!!
I don't for the simple fact. of when a child is having a major surgery , such as heart surgery. they make the parents pick who stays , a d trys to force them to make the parents pay for a hotel room or drive back and forth just to be able to see child before and after the surgery. this is not right under any circumstances, then you leave a review on there internet site . they tell you to email them or call them you do . you never get a response from them later that day. The communication and professional is horrible. I called multiple times today to check on my daughter. They kept saying that the attending physician or nurse practitioner would call me back. When I first arrived at the hospital to be admitted from the ER, patient check in told only parents can visit. I get upstairs and the 12th floor said one additional visitor can come and it doesn't have to be a parent. I gave the name of the person that tried to bring me food. RecommendedThe staff was very attentive and caring. If my son did not like the food they sent they would get him something he did like. Also it was not just the nursing staff that was great. it was also Respiratory, lab, dietary, security and other departments that went out of their way to help us when needed. My son was critically ill and Childrens hospital is the reason he is alive today.
A very professional and competent hospital
I don't think anyone will ever regret their decision to place their Child in the Care of this Hospital!

They are absolutely amazing here! All of the nurses are so caring and do an absolutely amazing job! I love that you can tell how much they love their job. My little girl and her two favorite nurses.
