This will be the 3rd time taking my daughter to Dr hartog in cardiology! She is so nice and so informative! We love her!! I've never had any of the issues with billing or insurance that anyone else has. My insurance always sends us a letter saying she's been approved for her echo for the year. Love how well they take care of us!

Took my 15 yr old in to neurologist and she had him draw circles with a pen, transfer water from one cup to another and count the days of the week backwards . He has tourettes and has been suffering bad shaking. She told him what he was experiencing was normal for a 15 yr old boy. I drove 4 hours and got a $222.65 bill from insurance. To say the pediatric neurologist(s) here are trash,... is an understatement!
The Young Athlete Center is very nice, and the physical therapists there are great. My daughter was in good hands and I know that having such a nice facility geared towards teens helped her feel comfortable from the start. However, I will agree with everyone else here that it is not worth 4x what I have paid for Physical Therapy elsewhere. Shocking, really! The billing is not transparent, as others have noted. Our child's pediatrician referred us to this hospital for a simple allergy test. We took our appointment 3 months in advance and they did not inform us to stop medication(zyrtec) 5 days before the actual test. At the hospital, they told us they can't do the skin prick test because we gave our child zyrtec a day before the test and they told us we should go with blood test and we agreed. Today I received a bill for an amount of $1000 just for the blood test and some more bills charged for the service. This is ridiculous. Isn'... read more
