When I was 12 years old I found out that I had a brain tumor. My surgery was done at a hospital near my home (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia). Because of the type of tumor that I had I needed to get more tests done and I needed to have therapy. The place that my mother found that knew the most about this type of tumor that I had was St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
