Edit to add: After seeing a nurse for 5 minutes, my husband was told there's basically nothing they can do because they're too busy to perform an ultrasound. He was advised to take Tylenol for the pain. It would have been fantastic and appreciated to know this 7-8 hours earlier. I wouldn't normally bother sharing a review like this but our situation today is shocking. My husband has been waiting more than 8 hours to be seen by a doctor for an acute medical issue, with no end in sight. We're just visiting from another provinc... read more

Really depends on who you get or where you need to go inside. Some are fantastic, others overwhelmingly rude.

I had a wonderful experience at this hospital this past week. I had gotten a very small piece of glass stuck in my finger, and unsure what to do since I couldn’t get to the piece to remove it, I called St Joes and they told me to come in as one of the Nurses should be able to remove it for me. I was worried about a wait, but I was in and out of there within 40 minutes and had recieved exceptional and kind care from the nurses on staff. I got in and out in 3 hours.Staff was great.I was only there for a infection prescription So I was not an emergency. They responded quickly.
