I cannot speak highly enough of the care the entire hemophilia treatment center provides. Dr. Cockrell, Lisette, Candace, and Lauren have all played a pivotal role in securing necessary treatment with compassion and grit resulting in access to life changing treatments. I also have to commend Lauren, the HTC pharmacist, for her countless hours of work fighting with insurance and coordinating care with us to end in a positive result. You do not find this kind of top notch care many places.
This team saved my kid’s life. The team of nurses and docs are all a Godsend.
We planned this out for months. My child is 6 and a 1/2 years old, hes autistic and it was a big deal. Katie was the nurse who came in to get the blood she could not get it, she continuously kept poking him in his arm. I had to tell her to stop then they sent in an IV team to use a camera to get the blood and they had no problem. So common sense would say you would do that first so that you don't have to stick a kid twice. I'm very disappointed in this place I would never recommended to anyone.
