Dont usually do reviews but thought this mattered. In July I went in with a possible appendicitis. Turned put to be a blockage in my small intestine that turned out to be a rare cancer. I was admitted for a week while they decided how to proceed. While no one was knowledgable about my cancer, they didnt try to act like they were. They are associated with Hershey and the oncology staff at st Joe's are part of the oncology team at Hershey. My care was transferred and I'm now recovering. Absolute worst hospital i ever been to. There was a elder couple sitting there and his wife was having an asthma attack and they sat there and didn’t do anything until he went up and complained. We sat there in the EMERGENCY ROOM for over an hour and a half until we decided to go to another hospital. Completely unbelievable that this place is open still. Unacceptable.

This place is so slow they would let you die before they treat you. I've brought my boyfriend in twice now for elevated blood pressure, elevated pulse and chest pains - along with other classic symptoms of a heart attack - and every time we've been told to sit in the waiting room. So far we've been here for 30 minutes. He has heart problems but they don't give a f*%k!
RACIST. CLASSLESS. POINTLESS. Residents rather die of a toe infection then let anyone in this god forsaken hospital work on them. The nurses are a complete and utter nightmare. Doctors have no sense of urgency. It is a death machine. I'm surprised the government hasn't shut this place down. They have zero kindness. ZERO. The people there only come for paychecks.
