Some people like going to St Joe's but I can say from experience that they could be a lot better, they don't listen to the patients enough especially one's that are recovering addicts and don't do all the testing and things to really figure out what's wrong. For example I had a blood clot on my leg and they tried telling me it was a spider bite and didn't wanna do any testing and I knew it wasn't a spider bite and after about a month and a half of me going and telling them that wasn't right they finally sent me to a speciali... read more

I have been at this facility for blood draws a few times as my medication requires that I be monitored. Yesterday was TERRIBLE. A very young girl called me in from the waiting room and introduced herself as my phlebotomist. She was preparing her stuff and realized she needed more “5ml” syringes. Someone else got them for her and we continued. She then tied the tourniquet around my upper arm. That was red flag number one. It was so loose that it could be easily slid up and down in my arm.
