I’ll tell you what it isn’t not someone claiming to be sick playing on their phone loud as hell for everyone to hear not a person that has a hurt finger playing their video games just fine on their phone so all these people get called before me but yet I’m laying here miserable and also tell me what professionalism is I’ll tell you what it is it two people sitting there, shooting the shit with each other talking mess about patients knowing that I’m sitting right here can hear everything it’s ab... read more

Very kind, Considerate and helpful staff! I wouldn’t take my kiddos anywhere else. Emergency room there is usually very quick and the diagnosis is right on the money. The doctors are very knowledgeable about most everything that a patient could go in for.

So impressed with College Station Medical Center. When we walked in, a volunteer welcomed us and escorted us to Admissions, the admissions clerk was so friendly, she escorted us to the cardio area, the cardio team made both of us feel calm and welcomed, they answered every question and concern before we asked. The cafeteria breakfast was delicious, and the servers were friendly. The waiting area was clean, I was kept informed via phone during the procedure. Dr. Lammoglia visited me in the waiting area and explained the resul... read more

This refers to CS Med Center's MedPlus center at Barron Road, which has no separate website to comment upon. MedPlus at Barron Road is billed as providing a full range of care either on an appointment or a walk-in basis. Firstly, the service isn't truly "walk-in," if you do just come to the office you probably have a greater than 50% chance of being sent away with an appointment to come back either later that day or sometime soon after. You'll do better if you give them a call first and make sure that they are accepting walk... read more

First of all let me start by saying if I were writing this review 3-5 years ago I’d have nothing bad to say. As of today I HATE College Station Medical Center. I gave birth to my daughter 3 years ago tomorrow, I also gave birth to my son there in 2013; both births as well as all OBGYN services and testing were completely covered by Medicaid. I never once received a bill, never once an email, a phone call, no one ever asked to speak with me about it when I went to the same hospital for her check up the day after we went home,... read more

Having some complications two days after my heart ablation, I ended up in the ER! They were very diligent in making me comfortable, assessing the problems, and coming up with a plan. The hospital was full so when it came time to move me to a room, they moved me to a private room in the ER away from the hustle and bustle. I cannot express enough appreciation for everything my nurses and doctors did the 5 days I was in the hospital. Great staff.

Went in late at night to get some stitches in my chin (needed 4 stitches total, and they did a good job). I spent about 2 hours in the hospital trying to get this done. I was told that they only had the one "specialist" working that night. I brushed it off since I knew I wasn't a high priority. That is NOT why they are getting one star. They are getting one star because of the billing system they have in place. I got a bill from the hospital in a reasonable amount of time, paid it and forgot about it. FOUR MONTHS later I get... read more

Business response:

Shayne, physicians always bill separately for their services. This is not just CSMC, but all hospitals. The doctors have to bill separately, we simply cannot roll their service cost into our accounting, they have separate accounting systems in their offices. I hope this helps explain a little better.
