Had a wonderful experience here with my child. I wanted to share a quick review of our experience at St. John’s last week. As a parent, nothing is more stressful than suspecting your child might have a highly contagious illness, and I was incredibly anxious when my baby developed a sudden high fever and a patchy red rash. I leave one star to draw notice on an important issue. There is no doubt that the nicu provided lifesaving care for my babies underdeveloped lungs. However, their unshakable insistence on giving Him Similac Human Milk Fortifier turned a life saving event into a gut destroying nightmare. Nurses began administering the product through his tube feeds without my consent through the night. They would not tell me the name of the product when I asked. I loved it so nice
Been sent here 2 different times with 2 different kids (my son 4yrs ago, and our granddaughter just last Wednesday) this is by far the absolute worst Children's hospital I've ever been to. Please take your kids elsewhere, this hospital needs investigated.
