The experience I had at SJOG Subiaco honestly made me appreciate our public health system even more. To be fair, I had a very positive birth experience. I am a frequent surgical patient at SJOG Subi due to Crohn’s Disease. I am often in around 4 times a year for day surgery. It’s always a very traumatic situation, as I don’t cope well with general anaesthetic. The nurses and other staff make me feel SO comfortable. They let me bring my teddy into theatre and always make me so comfortable and calm. This Hospital was absolutely amazing the surgery couldn’t have gone better and the nurses are all so friendly and try to cater to your every need. The Food is amazing it felt like I was eating out every meal. Check in was fast and efficient, you will not be disappointed with your stay at this hospital.

I had cervical surgery performed, Dr Mark Lam and Michelle lai they have been so supportive and very professional in their work and care, if you need help Michelle and Mark are who you want, top class. The care from the nurses was great, a shout out to some of the care from nurses who were always going above and beyond, the nurses know who they are ;) St John of god subiaco food has been top class and very impressed. I am absolutely disgusted by the spinal surgery department. I had a referral sent through nearly a year ago (private patient). I hadnt heard anything for 10 months after the referral was sent so I rang them and they said they lost my referral. I told the Receptionist about my new symptoms and she said that she would speak to the surgeon immediately and get back to me. That was about 2 months ago and still no word.
