Great A&E. Ballarat is blessed to have this facility. The facility is of the highest quality and whoever selects and sets the standards for staff is doing a brilliant job. Admittedly I believe there was only one other client in A & E when I arrived (2pm Sunday), so I did receive care immediately, which was a great start. I was on the was home from a 40 yr Nursing Reunion when I thought it best to be assessed. Hands down the best hospital Experience I have ever had. I went in for a day surgery and the bedside care I received along with the warmth and kindness I Expierenced from the nurses & drs was truly wonderful. I have never felt so safe in my life in a hospital setting. I would also like to highlight the cleanliness of the part of the hospital I was in, it was literally CLEAN CLEAN. The care for older patients is discussing my mother was treated as a very unimportant patient l am discussed in her treatment never get sent to this hospital not for the elderly

In ward 2 West for two nights after turp surgery. Most all staff attentive to their work . But I've never been in such a noisy ward of a hospital in my life. Had no sleep first night. Second night had some good sleep via earplugs and closing door . But some very noisy talks in ward too.
