It genuinely felt as though only a temporary “Band-Aid” solution was provided, more out of concern for liability than for actually addressing my medical condition. In regards to pediatric endocrinology: Things used to be great over here. I have basically been seeing Dr. Degnan since I was first diagnosed with diabetes 18 years ago. I go to college but would always try to get appointments for when I come home. Unfortunately it seems like they are underwater in new patients, to the point where they cannot accommodate old patients. The last time I was in for an appointment was in May of 2025. I walked in, signed in, and in under 10 minutes my blood draw was done. Phlebotomist did a nearly painless draw, and on the first try, too. Go here.
If I could give 0 stars i would, the nurses and the front desk are beyond rude. They acted like we inconvenienced them by coming in for care. If you can go anywhere else for treatment i strongly encourage you to. We were treated more like criminals than patients.
The best emergency hospital and its not even close. They are always quick to get you in, respectful and polite.
