I really don’t understand the negative reviews for St. John. I am always able to be seen quick here and taken good care of. This hospital has amazing staff and doctors. I give anyone in this field so much appreciation. Thank you for everything you do!
I am immune compromised and picked up a staph infection, I told them this when I got there. The waiting room was empty. We never got called back after signing in and triage. With literally no one in the waiting room, we waited 2 hours. Then the waiting room began to fill up. They took case after case back, when I asked the front nurse about this, she said we take people back on a case by case basis. Waited another 2 hours, still no help. Just wanted to leave a positive review in the midst of all of the negative ones. I went to the ER yesterday and the doctor’s decided I needed a CT scan. I was not feeling well what so ever so unfortunately I don’t remember any names but the tech that was doing CT scans on 12/8/25 was the nicest staff member I had seen all day. He was very kind and patient. He’s the only one I truly remember as yesterday was a blur. That’s how good he was.
I will not be returning to this emergency department. If you work in healthcare or simply advocate for receiving appropriate medical care, I strongly recommend seeking treatment elsewhere. The physicians here appeared more focused on their own egos than on collaborating with patients to reach accurate diagnoses. Any time I attempted to ask questions or request specific tests or basic procedures based on my symptoms, I was dismissed. I came here 3 to 4 times in. Short period of time recently for some issues that were and still is very bother some for me. They treated me like crap like oh it's you again. They wanted me to talk to psychology people telling me I'm crazy. I was very anxious all times an very scared m so was crying. They said your behavior isn't normal. I didn't feel well.
