I attended the basic first aid course with a co-worker last Monday and I am not one to write reviews, but the instructor(I think his name was Daniel) had to be the worst I ever experienced. I saw him belittle students, very impatient and did a poor job of getting the students engaged. I literally lost all engagement within a few hours of the course and just wanted to leave. I had chris as our instructor, and she was super thorough and accommodating! Will br using at Johns as my first aid go to!
I just completed the Emergency First Aid- Community Care at Port Moody location January 22, 2025. The course and instructor was ok but what’s not good was there’s no table. I ask the instructor and she said there’s no budget for table and because we are only like 17 attendees. So for the duration of the course we all took notes on our lap and write the test with a clip pad on our lap. The courses here are excellent, but something I would like to draw attention to is the cadet program here. The cadet program here is an experience that every child should get to experience, especially if they are interested in medicine or first aid. Everyone at the cadet division is extremely nice, welcoming and inclusive. All the cadets are well mannered and hardworking, committed to training and the mission of St. John Ambulance to provide care in their community.
