Excepcional hotel but what really made our stay was Terrence he’s been killing it in the morning very impressive service I would definitely want to keep this guy around at all costs look forward to coming back 🥂
Stayed at voco St. James Hotel and honestly a really solid experience. Booked a 1 King standard windowless room, so expectations were pretty average going in, but being an IHG Platinum member came through — got upgraded to a king room with a balcony which completely changed the stay. Room had that classic New Orleans feel with high ceilings and exposed brick, but still clean and comfortable. This hotel is in an excellent location- it is close to public parking garages, an easy walk to Canal Street and the French Quarter, the service was incredible, and the rooms were absolutely gorgeous. There is a small dipping pool in the back courtyard that is perfect for cooling off after a long day of walking, and the hotel and rooms are clean, well kept, and amazing.
When I booked online, I figured I’d get that “old, refreshed” look, and honestly, I pretty much did. The receptions Kendrall was fantastic. Even during a packed breakfast shift when they were a bit understaffed, everyone still went out of their way to help. Andrew took care of that in an outstanding way.
