Have visited a few times over the past years and also twice for my wife. No complaints ,staff have always been professional . Nothing but commendation for the emergency department and Paeds wards. Parking is expensive but theres council parking on Derby st.

Arriving at emergency we found that the waiting room was full, We were there at 1.20am with my son and his girlfriend Sunday morning. X-ray was done fairly quickly but report was not available until after 6am. My son’s girlfriends mum took over after7am and did not go home till after 3pm Sunday afternoon. My son’s girlfriend had a fractured / broken tibia. Was put into a room to rest on a recliner, the room had not been cleaned and very short staffed. This 5 star review goes out to specifically nurse Heather in the emergency department. I was in an out in under an hour, expecting to be there the whole night. She is so sweet and caring such a beautiful soul. Not only that, she is so skilled and professional, she did a quick procedure on me which I thought would have to be done by a surgeon and I expected to see a surgeon hours and hours later. Huge shout out to her and the St George hospital team!

I am 22 weeks pregnant. Came here with severe leg pain. They made me wait almost whole night without letting me eat. Such an unprofessional behaviour to the emergency patient.
