The Mental Health Unit inpatient medical team should be charged for negligence for discharging a very unwell mental patient without adequate treatment and support. Patient was independently assessed by a psychiatrist a few days later in a very unstable state. Shame on Dr Kavanagh and team. The hospital put the life of the patient and other people at risk.
