I have stayed at St. Francis of the Woods twice now. It is the perfect place to decompress from a high stress job. The Director has always been kind and accommodating and the homes are always clean quiet. I have stayed in Bonaventure and St. Clare's. The walking trails are well kept and there is a library and chapel for occupants use.

I stayed here three nights with my entire family for a spiritual retreat. We stayed in the Bonaventure cabin which was very adequately furnished and served our purposes admirably. The grounds were open to explore and we spent many hours wandering in nature as a family. The retreat center is a delightful little Franciscan oasis tucked in the heart of Oklahoma. Their director should eat and sleep with the chickens to feel their pain. Maybe these hipster boys should go back to the Paseo, and leave God's work to the real men. Did you know that kimchi is actually a Korean dish? It doesn't really make sense to have a Korean dish on Chinese new year does it? I don't think you guys know what you're doing.

A nice place to set aside space and time to decompress. Folks there are very courteous and helpful. Pleasant and comfy facilities.
