St. Frances of the Woods is my retreat from the world. I come for spiritual and physical nurishment. I love to come for Sunday service, time in in the library and a walk in the woods. You can come for the day or stay the night in one of the cabins. I always feel welcomed and loved.
St Francis of the Woods, is a very special place, my brother went to get eggs and then found out what it is all about. He said you need to go, So in April of 2015, I went by myself with my dog shashe on my deceased son's Jeron's birthday, it was so peaceful and calm, I had to share with other friends that needed this place!! I love it and love to come back often. What a great thing to find a chapel and library, chicken and fresh eggs and trails to walk if you want and cabins, has a special place in my heart:) So now me and 2... read more
