I called to ask if they had a specific shot, simple yes or no (which is on backorder in the USA); could've been a 20 second phone convo tops. An RN, who was laughing when picking up the phone, said "No...well, I don't know...I have a real emergency to deal with." She immediately hung up. ERs are super stressful places to work, I get that, but I urge this staff to practice kindness. You DO NOT know what someone else is going through. Visited the ER twice this month. They were very caring and understanding. I had to bring children and they definitely were very human with us. Thanks to all of you working there. Specially Kaitlyn. She even check on the kids and it wasn’t such a difficult experience for them.
Hospital of choice, I can walk here, but the emergency room staff is unpleasant and brusque and act like they are doing you a favor. My husband and I felt this from last time we were there, and just experienced it yet again. Very surprised with St. Francis.
absolutely disgusting treatment. came in and was misdiagnosed my first time at the er and symptoms got much worse so i had to come back. doctor was dismissive and profiled me for my false diagnosis without even listening to me. when i came back he was mad i woke him up for this. they didn’t even take any tests or helped me at all until i begged for HOURS. i couldn’t breathe and was in severe pain but no one cared at all. truly inhumane and disappointing to the healthcare field
