I went to the ER at St Francis since they are a heart hospital. My blood pressure was 187 over 100. I went to urgent care for a UTI and they took my blood pressure. I waited in the waiting room for 6 hours with heart problems at St Francis. A lady with back pain went in before me.I was there for 12 hours (too much time) there was a horrible nurse named nurse Michelle who ruined everything for me.The doctors were very attentive and good.Nurse Michelle was horrible. Nurse Pam worse lady ever, waited 2 hrs to find out I had a positive common cold. Mind you I had to ask a nurse to get my assign nurse Pam. 5 mins later after asking for her she’s comes half way near me tells me I tested positive and walks away, doesn’t tell me anything else. I still waited for her to come back to let me know if ima get any meds or am I waiting for a doc nothing at all. To be honest, this is my first time here. First, the security misguided me and only told me to have seat anywhere and someone will attend to me. She was wrong, I figured out I need to let them know I should be checked in. The woman that checked me in was sweet. Moving on, I was quickly admitted and given a bed. The guy that did my EKG was also nice. He's very tall. From there on, I had a strange "vibe" or " energy" from the nurses. They seem knowledgeable about their profession but lack human compassion, they act like robots... read more
