I was there on Tuesday around noon, after having a rapid Afid of 179, scare to dead, the rate when back to normal as soon as I step into the hospital. They took a blood test and a xray , after 2 hours I need it to go to the bathroom because I was freezing with no blanket and pillow. I ask a nurse on a green uniform. Never had a great experience in a hospital until today. Thank you to Mindy, Elizabeth, Michael, Mercedes, Jordan, and Peter. They all participated in my care in the ER today. Yes I drove 30 minutes just to go here to give you guys a shot and yes, I will drive 30 minutes again if I ever need to go back. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!
I called to ask if they had a specific shot, simple yes or no (which is on backorder in the USA); could've been a 20 second phone convo tops. An RN, who was laughing when picking up the phone, said "No...well, I don't know...I have a real emergency to deal with." She immediately hung up. ERs are super stressful places to work, I get that, but I urge this staff to practice kindness. You DO NOT know what someone else is going through.
