My 82 year old uncle ended up in St. Francis' ER with sepsis from an undetected infection! Altogether, my uncle was in the ICU/PCU (Progressive Care Unit) for 10 days! Every caretaker was professional, patient, compassionate, and nice to talk to. Not a single person was lackadaisical or rude. Their ER staff left me stranded outside, pregnant with covid and no way home in the winter- after being brought via ambulance. I had to walk home, in the rain pregnant with covid. Miles. Patient dumping is never OK.
Went to get seen last night and was treated poorly, one of the ER nurses was an African women and was biases, hostile , aggressive and totally disrespectful towards me , even asking me personal questions that have nothing to do with why I was being seen. My son has been stuck at st.francis for 3 days, noone contacted his next of kin.calling there was next to impossible! Sat on hold for half hour! Rock music blasting in my ear! Atyrocious
