The emergency department cares more about church doctrine and money than they do about patient health. I do not recommend ever going to here if you care about your health or your family's health. I would rather die than be treated the way they treated me.
St. Francis Hospital, but specifically Franciscan Health are horrible. I can say many issues, but I'll use two issues specifically. 2018 I had a car crash that caused me to have artificial heart and requires Warfarin. INR meets every month at St. Francis, I used the same amount everyday. They may use new pharmacist, they would change the amounts all the time. Two times I almost lost in the hospital. Very disappointed with the discharge process at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way. Our resident was sent to the ER for urinary retention, and after the ER drained his urine one time, staff attempted to pressure an immediate discharge back to the AFH without safe discharge planning or proper coordination. I repeatedly explained to Nurse Deana and the ER charge nurse that our concern was never abandonment. I’m giving a 1 star because I have a procedure coming up and was contacted by an AI bot for pre-registration. When attempting to clarify something it asked because it has a garbled AI voice, it hung up on me. Let’s stop outsourcing human interaction for difficult events in patient’s lives to AI so some CEO can save money.
