You only are here if you need this specialized care. I am there because it is something I need at this point in my life. All the staff here are so compassionate to the needs of all patients. I recommend this specialized care facility if you need such a place.
My husband has to go every day for six weeks for I V antibiotics. We alternate between the Cancer Center and Downtown Infusion. The staff treat us special. We just love all the nurse's. From the time we drive up until the time we leave, we are treated with respect and kindness. I am not just saying this because I work there...it is the truth!
I just started this journey, the only way I can describe it " Your treated like everyone is taking care of their moms or dads" and I love them for that........
This is our 2nd round at this center and have always been treated well.. Yesterday 1/10/17 at 11:00am my Aunt was scheduled to have a PET/CT scan done. Needless to say, she was afraid. The women that had her as her patient had absolutely NO bedside manner at all. Instead of answering my questions, she gave me a look of impatience and handed me a handout on the procedure. I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in August, 2016 and began my journey with Dr Kahn and the staff. From the onset he spent a lot of time explaining everything to me and my family. I am still in treatment but I am getting amazing results and I will eventually have a stem cell transplant. From the moment I walk in the door until I leave each and every person treats me like I am the only one there. An amazing staff. The rating for Dr Kahn and the entire staff is way beyond a 5. I couldn't imagine going to any other center.
Obviously this not a place that anyone wants to have to be at. But some of us have to be here. The staff of the cancer center go above and beyond to make it as pleasant as possible. Everyone from the doctors and nurses right down to the gift shop and cleaning crew. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The staff and Dr.s and all the nurses are GREAT!!! Thank you very much Dr. Quddos Dr. Amanda nurse Sandy nurse Megan nurse Marie. That's just to name a few of the team that as helped Lisa Jewell and our family to get threw this Breast Cancer and you all continue to still help. U all do a wonderful job and we are very very THANKFUL for all u have done threw this past year.. Sincerely The Jewells
