This facility does not put the "urgent" in Urgent Care. First I called on Monday to schedule a follow up visit after being in the ER, I left a voicemail and never heard back. Set an appointment to be seen, I got here and it took 15 minutes just to check in. I wait for an hour only to be told I need more paperwork (Work Comp stuff). I leave, get the forms filled out and come back 90ish minutes later. There are still the same people waiting to be seen. I took my elderly mom across town to visit the Brewster Place/St. Francis urgent care recently after she fell and cut her head. After waiting close to 30 minutes to even check-in, the receptionist told us that the Dr might not be able to treat my mom because it was a head injury. Without a Dr even taking a look at my mom we were sent away to find care somewhere else. Very frustrating as mom is elderly and difficult to transport. Thank goodness for Cotton O’Neil. Instantly got turned away for a tooth abscess. Apparently they are now refusing to help you in these cases. I desperately needed antibiotics. But apparently, a potentially life threatening infection is not urgent.
