Expedient and compassionate care
Place closes at 8. I arrived at 7 and am told the doctor won’t take any more patients because she’s booked. “She needs to leave at 8,” says the receptionist. “You’ll have to go to the ER.” I would give 0 stars is I could because never in my life have I been turned away from getting care because the doctor is not taking any more patients when the place is still open. I have been here plenty of times with my little ones and never had any issues, but I took my son (4yo) last week to get checked out per his ENT. He had started to get a fever and quit talking/taking meds after having his tonsils removed 2 days prior. He got screamed at and threatened by the MA, among plenty of other things. This review is for Sheryl who works in laboratory services. She was extremely patient and kind. I was in active addiction for years and messed up my veins pretty badly unfortunately. She didn't pass judgment whatsoever and was very kind and talked me through the entire process. Normally it takes awhile to find an area to draw blood from but she did it immediately and with great care. I absolutely recommend everyone asking for her if you need any lab work done.
Our PA, Kimberly, was amazing. I brought my son in and she heard me, my concerns, worries, and reassured me. She sent us to children’s just to be 100% sure he was okay. As a mom, that means so much.
