Just had a week long stay after a serious ulcer bleed and blockage. First time in St Elizabeth system and I was nothing short of blown way with the nursing and the Dr care I received. Wonderful people all the way around and literally lifesavers.
Sat in the ER for almost 4 hours. Still waiting….And the posted wait time was only 31 minutes on their website. I’ll go to Cincinnati next time, but for now I don’t want to drive to another facility and start over. Finally called back but placed in a mental health room even though I am here for a wound. So, waiting again with a camera pointed at me, and no remote control and no ability to dim the bright lights- it’s midnight. I might end up needing mental health help when this is all said and done. St Elizabeth save my life and our baby in 2023. I had severe pre-eclampsia at 28 weeks and had to give birth. Long story short, the care was exceptional!! We love the NICU! The nurses, NPs and physicians were fantastic! We did get transferred to Childrens due to her eye exam. I will say St. E was FAR better than them. If they had a level 4 NICU they would out rank Childrens. Also, if St. E was to expand more into OH they would have alot of support. This hospital was amazing to me. I had my c section there on August 24th and had some complications and Dr. Seilhammer saved my life. If she didn’t know exactly what to do, I wouldn’t be here for all my kids. Also the anesthesiologist Kevin who assisted my c section was great and super nice and made the most of it all. She’s an amazing doctor and everyone in the post partum unit was amazing to me and my husband and my baby. They were very supportive and caring.
