Two different times this happened with me. I went to the FT Thomas location. The doctor straight up refused to do a ct scan of my abdomen when I thought something was wrong with my appendix, because I was “too young for that kind of thing.” He told me I was most likely just having issues going to the restroom. So the following day I go to the Covington one because the pain had gotten worse and became a stabbing pain. ER nurse that I had, was a male. He was very informative and nice. And the physician I saw cared was very nice as well. They had me in and out!

I went to this emergency department with severe back pain. I got in so quick. At first they thought it was muscular back pain so they gave me what should have been relief (I asked for no narcotics because I had to drive home) unfortunately this gave me no relief so the nurse communicated that with the doc. So he ordered blood work and a CT scan. They said I have multiple myeloma. So I got ba cancer diagnosis but want to thank them for their dedication. Caring. And doing other tests. May have been empty in the er when I took my sister. But the lady checking us in lectured us like we were here own children about the amount of ibuprofen my sister took that day. The doctor was also pretty awful and rude when we were telling her the problem. Telling us that we're wrong an that there's nothing wrong. Almost wasn't going to help my sister with anything for pain control an when I piped she was rude to me for piping in. That was the fastest ER visit I have ever had. They took great care of me also. I told them I was experiencing a lot of pain and nausea, and they addressed that issue very promptly.
