My mother in law had no one during her dying process of 2 days I watched her suffer with no comfort meds given in time. No Chaplin came , the aide Anthony never came, the nurse never came. I watched my wife lay with her mom & cry while her mom struggled to breathe. The nursing home wasn't giving the morphine as directed so they couldn't get a handle on her meds. Not sure where to begin, my family had the best experience with everyone at St Croix. We lost both our parents in less than a year and without all the helpful, caring individuals I am not sure how we would've done it. The nurses are all amazing. Anthony, who came for bathing was such an amazing person, the guitarist who came to play for my mom and I. Everyone was so kind and caring and helped my parents enter in to the next phase with dignity and grace. I highly recommend St Croix.
I have never left a bad review in my life until now ~ I was an only child and POA for my mother ~ my mom was in decline and failure to thrive diagnosis due to health issues. I thought hospice was the answer to provide all the care and support we needed.
