St. Croix Hospice has the most amazing clinical team! They offer several resources to ensure their staff is able to deliver the highest quality of care each patient deserves.
This service from St. Peters, Missouri seemed to go well for a while, but then I made the mistake of actually asking for help with a small thing for my 94-year-old mother with Alzheimer's and from there it went downhill. The nurse who said he would help me did not speak to the person he said he would, and after some backing and forthing he spoke to me in the most condescending manner letting me know I was wasting his time. I do not recommend this service
My mom has dementia in a memory care, she had a fall and fractured her pelvis. I had her sent to ER to assess her injuries. after 2 days she returned to memory care with mild pain medications ordered by orthopedic. She was evaluated by PT and doing well. I live out of state and flew in the day she got back to memory care, hospice had ordered Morphine and Ativan and her to remain in bed. They told me she didn’t look good and to prepare myself. The only staff member that always showed up was the shower aide. There have been staffing issues and lack of communication, but what made us transfer to another company was not providing basic medical supplies when needed.
