The St. Clair Golf Club is linked indirectly to Robert Cavilier de la Salle and his fellow traveler Father Louis Hennepin, French Missionary and historian, who passed by the club grounds in 1679. On August 12th of that year, on the feast day of St. Claire, they christened Lake St. Clair in her honor. Eventually our county, river, city, and golf club all took her name. Back nine is in nice shape and is beautiful scenery. Front nine ..... not so much of either
The people at this club, both members and staff, are warm and welcoming. I've only been involved for a few months, and I have met so many new friends. From dinner and evening events, to euchre night, the beautiful golf course and great food, it's exceeded my expectations. We recently had our wedding here both ceremony and reception and everything was beyond perfect! The patio was set up beautifully for the ceremony as well as to have guests hang out there during the reception. Shawn and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make sure the day was spectacular! Everyone was very helpful not just on the day of but also leading up to it! The golf was good and the staff friendly.I was disappointed that I couldn't purchase a logo ball for my golf ball collection. The young lady working in the pro shop said that the logo balls were only for decoration, not for sale!
We celebrated our marriage at St Clair Golf Club. The staff and service was great. Shawn the Dining manager is wonderful to work with. Book your event here it will be very successful.
