She had an eye infection and a sore on her neck that we'd been having problems with due to the fact she'd scratched it back open a couple times. Thank you St Clair Animal Hospital A month before Christmas I started to try and find a kitten as a Christmas present for my daughter. Somebody put me in touch with St Clair Animal Hospital as they heard they had some rescued kittens which needed homes. I rushed over and met our future family member who had received all her shots and also been neutered and then they very kindly agreed to board her for me for free for three weeks until Christmas. Would not recommend unless they have changed I decided to write a review after searching the internet for all the local vet's numbers because I am calling to compare prices (as long as quality is not sacrificed) for our cat that needs a specific surgery. I was puzzled to see this vet had an overall high rating. I have helped many people/friends in my area spay or neuter their pet(s) to help ease the continuing problem of overpopulation, and sometimes I will take in an animal in need...get it fixed and back to health then fin... read more
Vets Rude STAFF VERY NICE AND ACCOMMODATING but the Vets are arrogant. Vets need to understand they are treating a family member and stop being rude!!
Always Been Great Myself and my family has taken our pets here for atleast 20 years. We've never had a problem and the prices were always fair.
Not all animals treated equally Recently my daughter's Guinea pig became injured. We called this hospital because it is close to our home. They basically laughed at the idea of having someone look at our pet. They rudely told us we would have to find someone who deals with exotics. When we asked if they knew of someone, we were told there were numbers listed in the phone book. I found this person answering the phones to be cold and harsh. Good Care For Your Animals My little friend (dog) has been going there for at least 6 or 7 years. Has had major surgery and came out just fine. I trust in the vet and know he has the experience and skills. Like everyone who works there, they are friendly. The prices are reasonable.
St Clair Animal Hospital is amazing! They are amazing. I drove over 50 miles to take my pet there. I found out she had cancer and did everything they could to make it easier. They allowed me to say goodbye and hold her as they gave her the shot. They also gave me the option of whether or not to take her home and bury her. Then they made a clay pawprint of her with her name and the year on it. They also sent a sympathy card. They are absolutely great and I would take any pet there.
