St. Charles Place is one of the best restaurants in St. Charles. The food is always delicious whether you order the steaks, seafood or ribs. Even their burgers are excellent. Never had anything to complain about and we have been going there for over 5 years now, for special occasions or just after work to grab a burger. The service is great and the owner Tommy is a gracious host, willing to provide you with whatever you want even if it's not on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Great menu and fine food at reasonable prices. If your looking for a $.99 hamburger this is not the place for you. I have been visiting with then for three years and NEVER a bad night. JFS
Great Style and Amazing Food – I've had dinner at St. Charles Place several times. I find the place a real treat when I'm in the area. It's very rare to have such a stylish dining room outside of Chicago. The place has a great bar, incredible food, and overall just a really cool place to dine with friends or family. The prime rib dish is out of this world, the seafood in tremendous. The portions are fit for a king and it's friendly to children and adults. Overall highly recommended.
steaks and burgers – The first time we ate there it was wonderful. The next time I got a burger, ordered it medium and it came out rare. Sent it back and the same burger came out with the raw meat juice still on the plate! This is not acceptable with ground beef. The manager finally agreed to take the charge off the bill but I left this restaurant as hungry as when I showed up. No real apology either. We won't be going back.
