Due to a very rare event in which a thyroid nodule had actually begun to close off my airway and swallowing, I found the ER at Madras to be outstanding. I had a number of visits there over the last 4 months while trying to manage this issue which was compounded by a severe respiratory infection. The physicians and staff were knowledgable, responsive, and respectful despite how uncertain the diagnosis was at first.
Took my husband in because he was in excruciating pain and his current pain medication was doing nothing for him so his ortho doc said go to e.r. so we did and we were met with a doctor that was very unprofessional and rude. All he did was look at my husband, didn't do any xrays or tests just flat out said "well we have a database that shows us all prescriptions given out, did you know that? And we show that you have medication already." We explained the situation to the nurse and the doctor and he didn't seem to give a crap... read more
