Below average. There are some excellent doctors that provide care there. They need another hospital in this area. I've been to the ER and waited over 5 hours each time. The place is inundated . As our population grows we need more access and St Charles cant do it themselves. I don't blame the doctors, they seem like fine providers but the hospital can not keep up with the growth
ER sucks big time. Rude employees out front.The staff upstairs is awesome. Greatest nurses and CNAs
I have had a few procedures/surgeries over the last 4 years and have had amazing experiences every time. I have also been with a friend while she waited to be seen in the ED. That experience wasn't great. It took way to long to see a patient who was in as much pain as she was and running a fever.
Wow. Just had outpatient knee revision surgery at hospital yesterday. Was a 5 star experience! The staff in pre op , anesthesia ,surgery recovery and day stay were great. Friendly professional attentive staff. Even food from cafeteria was very good and came quickly to day stay . Great experience and shout out to those nurses who were so kind and attentive. Especially Arielle in post op. Hard job to deal with so many personalities of patients but everyone remained cool and calm. Great job!
My daughter brought her 10-day old son into the emergency room. He had stopped breathing a few hours before. He was 1 month premature & has Jaundice. He has lost 13% of his body weight... which is about 1 pound. She sat in the E.R> waiting room for 3 hours watching people with the flu & children with sprained ankles go back before her son. What is the point of Triage when you don't follow it? They ran labs... admitted him to pediatrics for observation... NOT a single word else. Also, there is no pediatrician in the E.R.
