My name is jerry , and I am currently a patient at the IPU at st annes . At first, I didn’t want to be here. I thought that I was being pressured to leave quickly, and I was unsure about everything. I’ve remained here while waiting for the VA to arrange payment for a nursing home, and during that time, my experience has completely changed. My Aunt was in rehab there for two weeks anfter she had hip surgery and I can honestly say I was very pleased and surprised with the care they gave her. Her physical therapist Alfredo was amazing and super understanding of her needs. Very kind and gentle with her. The nurses and the social worker Yanara was also super helpful throughout the whole process. All the staff and wound care nurses Antonio was amazing.
