I think that St Raphael's ward is the best Mental health hospital in the world!! 😁 You have to be over 60 to be admitted. The reasons are from the cleaners to higher management including health care assistants nurses they couldn't have been more caring and understanding of everybody's issues which were diverse. Their aim is to get you as well as quickly as possible to get you back home. The hospital is immaculately clean, the bedrooms and shower rooms were big and spacious. Fantastic staff at the Haven. Amazing care, made to feel very welcome. My only criticism is the executive management and its discriminating policy on smoking off-site in public. NHS must adhere to the law and retract this policy immediately. What citizens do in public is NOT NHS business. I will be taking action against this unlawful, extremist ideology on the subject of smoking outside in public. Again, the staff have been 100% professional.
