I couldn't be happier with my experience at New Start! I am so glad I chose Dr. Richardson as my surgeon and his staff is amazing. I have lost 90 lbs since my sleeve surgery in November and am only 25 lbs from where I want to be! Life changing. ** Update ** I have lost 220 lbs total since the day I walked into New Start! 90 on my pre op diet and 130 since surgery 11-2017! I surpassed my goal and am now maintaining. I recommend Dr. Richardson and St. Alexius New Start to everyone!
Dr. Richardson did my gastric bypass (RNY) 12yrs ago he was/is my hero.. I have recently been having issues with food and throwing up I seen him in his office on a Tuesday and Wednesday morning I was having an EDG, everyone there is awesome.. Truly one of the best decisions I ever made.. 12yrs later I'm still down 80lbs.. I'm 5ft tall and current weight is 138lbs... Yay for me, Dr. Richardson and St. Alexius New Start!!
Had the best Dietitan! Julia helped me with my weight loss I lost 40 lbs with her guidance my before and after pictures are uploaded on page. This was affordable and convenient as a working mother weight is hard to maintain since I'm always on the run Julia worked around my schedule and recommeded healthy snacks that can curb my appetite she is really nice I totally recommend St. Alexius NewStart if you are ready to take the extra step sometimes we need help and we can't do it alone!
It's been over 5 years and I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made.

Dec. 1, was my 1 yr anniversary for my gastric sleeve surgery. I went beyond my expectations. When I weighed myself 2 weeks before going to the clinic for the first time, my weight was 236; they put me on the liquid diet the week of Thanksgiving last year. I dropped 10 lbs that week before surgery. My goal weight was 155-160; I'm proud to announce that I've exceeded that goal weight, I now weigh 130 lbs, I wear size 5/7.
